This blog is simply about anything that my mind tells the fingers to jot down. Many times they come late at night, others at work and occasionally in the toilet heading for that big drop. Most entries are about life in the "land of chocolate" and things that I love to do - mountain biking, photography, snowboarding and a bit of running.

In Switzerland for a short visit

At this very moment, I'm sitting by the window at the corner where I will be sitting in 2 and half months time, overlooking a hill with houses on the slope. A pretty view.

We arrived at the small city where my company's HQ is this morning at around 9.30 AM by train from the Zurich international airport. Expecting the worst, the weather turned out to be pretty good. Opposite to what had been forecasted it was sunny and not a single drop of rain. Nice ...

The hotel was nicer than what I'd had imagined. Knowing the Du Parc hotel in Paris, I would never expect the Du Parc Hotel here would be impressive. It turned out to be not that bad.
